How to turn on the flashlight in iPhone
First, let’s deal with the hardware. The flashlight, as such, is not provided for in the iPhone, the LED flash located near the camera lens on the back of the device is quite capable of its functions. It is worth noting that the resource of LEDs often allows you to use a flashlight without noticeable consequences, but you should not forget that this significantly consumes the battery capacity reserve.
How to turn on the flashlight? This is quite simple, even without unlocking the iPhone. Just go to the Control Center and press the button with the flashlight icon.
In addition, there is the ability to adjust the brightness of the flashlight. To do this, press and hold the flashlight icon in the Control Center, after which a menu will appear in which four levels of glow intensity will be available.
When you turn on the flashlight, pay attention to the switch on the icon – it changes position when the function is turned on and off, which clearly illustrates Apple’s attention to every detail, even the most insignificant one.
In addition, the flashlight can be used as an indicator that signals incoming calls, messages and notifications. This function is activated in the menu. Settings → Universal access → Audiovisual material → Warning flash (in detail).
