DISCOUNT (379p → 15p) Review of Kenshō for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Mac – an unusual adventure in a surreal world where nature, time and space intertwine

20/12/2021 by

At the first glance at the trailer for the atmospheric puzzle Kenshō from the Russian developers FIFTYTWO, the magnificent animation and soundtrack are immediately striking, but it is difficult to judge the gameplay from the short video. Basically, the gameplay of Kenshō combines the mechanics of the well-known “tag”, “three in a row” and 2048 games.

The game has a certain abstract plot that will tell us that an imbalance has occurred in nature, and it can only be restored with the help of keys enclosed in blocks. The story is told from the face of a cube with one triangular eye, which expresses its feelings using various emoticons. From time to time, text explanations appear in the game, but the plot does not become more clear from this.

Kenshō Review for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Mac

Kenshō offers a game board on which blocks appear. The player needs to put several blocks of the same color in a row and “clear” the playing space. Some blocks contain key elements, your task is to destroy the blocks and get the components from which the key is assembled to go to the next level. At each level, you will wield new types of blocks, for example, tiles that can only be moved up and down or destroyed exclusively inside the force field. Thanks to such mechanics, the game does not get bored and interest in it remains until the very end.

After you collect all the keys on the level, the game will throw you another puzzle where the keys need to be placed on their corresponding pegs. Once all five keys are in place, the door will open.

A total of 11 levels await you, each separated by a door. Door names such as “In the Woods” or “Mysterious Cave” are clues about where the Traveler Cube will go. The animation in the game is very bright and colorful, it is even difficult to describe it in words. You shouldn’t set the brightness to maximum if you don’t want to drain your battery. Surprisingly, when playing at maximum settings on the iPhone 6s, no lag is observed.

Stunning graphics along with a relaxing 11-track soundtrack give Kenshō an amazing magical atmosphere. It can be seen that the developers put their heart and soul into this project.

Kenshō provides sync with iCloud, and you can play in both portrait (vertical) and horizontal modes.

Kenshō Review for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Mac

Kenshō is a really relaxing game, almost impossible to lose. She does not punish in any way in the event of an impassable situation, but only returns to the beginning, switching to a simpler mode. In this case, all collected keys and elements will be saved. After completing the story levels, Kenshō allows you to play indefinitely, but at least some point system is missing, which is somewhat unusual for a puzzle.

Either way, Kenshō is impressive with its visual and audio design, although thrill seekers may complain about the lack of peppercorns. Those who decide to try out the game can download it from the App Store for 379 rubles.

The app supports iPhone, iPad and iPod touch based on iOS 8.0 and above. In addition, there are versions for Mac computers and Apple TV set-top boxes. There is a localization into Russian.

Lifehacks that come in handy in nature

22/06/2020 by ALOK DAS

Going on a hike? It is high time! If you do this not so often (or even for the first time), then you are probably getting ready for severe restrictions on food and in everyday life. In fact, suffering is not necessary at all.

♥ BY TOPIC: Life hacks and unusual effective applications for ordinary things: TOP-50.

Cooking

15 life hacks that come in handy if you are going outdoors

1. If you like to cook, then even on a trip you will probably want to do something “like that”, and you probably will not have enough of the usual set of salt and pepper spices. Well – just distribute your signature herbal and herbal set in waterproof Tic Tac packaging.

15 life hacks that come in handy if you are camping

2. Did you want fried eggs on vacation? At first glance, this is a problem – after all, eggs are not the product that easily withstands “field” conditions. But you need yolks and squirrels, not a shell, do you? Take a plastic bottle, insert a funnel into it and break the eggs there! P.S. Just do not forget to put the bottle with the future cherry in a cooler bag or just a cool place.

3. And if you have forgotten the cutlery, then you can always make a spoon from an ordinary bottle.

Bonfire

15 life hacks that come in handy if you are going outdoors

1. A great way to prevent matches from getting wet is to dip them in candle wax. If this is too extreme for you – just put a box of matches in a glass jar with a lid.

2. To light a bonfire in bad weather … cotton balls are great! Dip them in petroleum jelly and set fire to it. They will burn powerfully and for a long time – exactly what you need in such a situation.

3. In order to ignite the coals on the grill without the ignition fluid, roll 3 newspaper spreads (sheets) into “bagels” and build a turret from them.

Gently fill the resulting structure with coals to the very top. Do not put coal inside the “well”. Now it remains only to set fire to the newspaper, which in turn will surely kindle the coals that are nearby, and then the remaining coals.

First aid

15 life hacks that come in handy if you are going outdoors

1. Don’t want to be bitten by mosquitoes? If a bonfire burns nearby, throw some sage at it. This weed is a natural repellent (repeller) against mosquitoes.

2. Still, you were bitten, and the sore spot itches just unbearably? Take a deodorant stick and lubricate the bite site. This tool will have both astringent and soothing effect.

♥ BY TOPIC: The real names of the stars are what is actually called Chuck Norris, Bill Clinton, Elton John and 50 other celebrities.

Repairs

15 life hacks that come in handy if you are going outdoors

1. Did the grommet come off on the tent canvas (the ring through which the rope was passed)? It’s okay – just make a hole in the corner and attach the grommet to it with a cable tie or ordinary rope.

2. Camping pots and pans have the unpleasant property of rusting over time. To avoid this, put a little silica gel on the bottom of your kitchen utensil while you are not using them.

3. If you had to borrow a little adhesive tape (tape) from your neighbors, then taking a whole roll with you is not necessary – just wrap a few tens of centimeters of “adhesive” around the water bottle, flashlight (in general, anything that suits).

4. If you eat bread, you are well acquainted with the plastic clip-clip that closes the bread bag. Usually they are thrown right after opening the packaging – and in vain, because they make excellent clothespins for drying clothes.

Tent

15 life hacks that come in handy if you are going outdoors

1. Even if your tent is on a level surface with tall grass, sleeping on it is likely to be uncomfortable. Take care of your comfort in advance – buy a “foam” rug or tent with the corresponding option.

2. Do it yourself with the simplest flashlight – put the head flashlight (if you already have one) in a transparent plastic bottle.

3. Well, and everyone can make a soft pillow – for this it is enough to take a pillowcase / cover for a sleeping bag and put on clothes.
