Probably not all Apple Watch owners are aware of Night modewhich allows the smart device to be used as an alarm clock on the bedside table.
For the functionality to work, the device must be on charge. Activate Night mode (Nightstand Mode) can be done in two ways – using the iPhone or directly on the watch itself.

What is Night Mode on Apple Watch for?
When activated Night mode Apple Watch will display the time in the format shown above each time it is connected to a power source. Clock screen in Night mode is not constantly active – after 10 seconds the display goes into sleep mode. In order to “wake up” the display and see the information on the watch screen, it is enough to lightly knock on the surface on which the watch is located, touch the display by pressing the side button or the Digital Crown wheel.
Night mode also provides an alarm function that will go off at a specified time (while the alarm sounds, the text on the watch screen will change from green to yellow). The alarm is turned off by pressing the side button. Pressing the Digital Crown will snooze the alarm for 9 minutes.
