With each release of the new generation of its proprietary iOS operating system, Apple is trying to improve and make life easier for users. However, not all introduced innovations turn out to be popular. For example, a highly controversial feature is predictive typing, which offers the user the most likely spelling of the current word.

Over time, the methods for entering text in iOS have undergone dramatic changes and made significant strides forward. Kuperinovtsy allowed us to use third-party keyboards, opened voice dictating of text (even in Russian) and improved predictive input.
But predictive input itself has become a rather controversial feature. Firstly, we have an additional panel above the keyboard, which takes up some part of the display. On devices with larger screens, of course, things are better with this.
Secondly, many are indignant about the intellectual prediction of the text, which does not always work correctly, and it does not learn as well as it was said at the presentation.
Thirdly, some users do not pay attention (do not use) this feature at all.
