How to Transfer Contacts from iPhone to Android
Export contacts from iCloud in vCard format (.vcf)
If iCloud was connected on your iPhone, the process of transferring contacts will be very easy.
1. Go to icloud.com on your computer and enter your Apple ID.
2. Select the icon with the caption Contacts…
3. Click on any contact and press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + A (for Windows) or ⌘Cmd + A (on Mac) to highlight all existing contacts.
4. Click on the gear icon in the lower left corner of the screen.
5. Select an item Export vCard …, specify the file name and select the desired save location.
Now all contacts will be in a .vcf file. They can be sent to a new smartphone via e-mail, and then opened and added to the address book on the device itself. And, of course, it makes sense to save a copy of this file on your computer or in a special section of your e-mail, so that in case of something it is always at hand.

Your Google account has a dedicated tool to store and sync contacts – Contacts…
1. Open the Google Contacts web page.
2. The menu on the left contains a section Import… Click on it.
3. Select your vCard file and click Import…
Useful advice: if after this operation you see that some contacts are displayed for you twice, find the item Similar contacts in the menu on the left. In it you can combine “takes” into one record. It is better to do this operation right now, before the contacts get on the phone.

Transfer Contacts from iPhone to Android Smartphone via Google Account (Gmail)
If you haven’t turned on your new Android yet, it will be very easy to transfer contacts to it. To do this, simply turn on the device and log into your Google account during registration, which you used in the instructions above. The smartphone will automatically “pull” contacts from your Google account, and all of them will be in the phone book, so you don’t have to enter anything manually.
If you have already turned on and configured your Android, then go to the smartphone settings, find the section Accounts or Accounts and sync… At the bottom of the screen, you will see a button to add accounts. Select Google and sign in to your account. The operating system will load all contacts, calendar entries and other components from your profile.

Transferring contacts from iPhone to Android smartphone using third-party applications
If you don’t want to do “nothing like that” for one reason or another, just use the services of a specialized application! The most popular option is My contacts backup, the app is available for both iOS and Android. But there are many other applications as well. All you need to do here is install the program, click on the Backup button to save all contacts to the same .vcf file, and then send it to yourself by email.
The application also allows you to automatically make backups of your contacts – which, of course, is very useful, because the list of contacts is updated from time to time among the vast majority of users.
