How to sign photos in the Photos app on iPhone for easy searching
Move the screen up while viewing the picture. Option “Add signature” appears under the photo itself. The added content will appear in the metadata of the media file in the photo description field.
The signature function works with all the contents of the Photos application, including live photos and videos. Creating a signature is a good way to add some details to a photo, but in addition, it also makes it easier to find the right picture.
Any user who has thousands of photos in his gallery, by creating signatures to them, will greatly facilitate the search. You can use emoji emoticons as a signature for photos.
It’s nice to see that Apple has ported this feature to iOS. The ability to add descriptions and keywords to media files has been present in the Photos app on the Mac for quite some time. This feature will be especially convenient for people who are used to actively using the Photos application on their mobile devices. Now Apple has provided a parity of features in the application on its various platforms.
What do you think of this new feature introduced in iOS 14? Will you use it regularly, making it easier to find photos?
