Setting WhatsApp notification sound for chat
1. Open the WhatsApp app.
2. Go to the tab Chats.
3. Swipe right or left on a chat or group and press Yet.
4. In the menu that appears, select “Contact (group) data”.
You can do the same by opening a chat or group and tapping the name at the top of the screen.
5. In this menu, select Sounds and set the desired notification sound. Please note that you can choose from a list of standard iOS sounds. Using your own tunes is not yet possible. Select “Not selected”if you do not want to receive notifications about messages from this person or group.
