Users who are testing test firmware can join for free now by visiting the Apple Beta Software Program page at beta.apple.com. There you need to register, download the installer and run it on your Mac.
All public test versions of macOS that Apple releases are always quite stable – there are no complaints at all with developers. However, what if the user is not interested in test micro releases? After all, working on your Mac, you can almost daily receive notifications of such minor updates. In fact, this type of update can be easily discarded.

How to opt out of macOS beta updates
1. Open System settings and go to the tab Software Update;
2. The participants of the testing program in the left part of the section that opens have a separate item on obtaining the basic releases of preliminary versions of software updates – you must click on the link “Details” under this paragraph;
3. In the window that appears, select “Default settings”.
4. To apply the changes, you must enter a password Administrator and press the button Remove protection.
The above steps will cancel receiving beta versions of macOS. This does not mean that the user quits the Apple beta program, but notifications about updates (as well as the updates themselves) will no longer come.
