The main feature of the built-in “Calendar” Mac is tight integration with other standard Apple programs. That is why it is very difficult to replace it with third-party applications: yes, they have their own chips, but they do not reach the general level.
The “Calendar” has quite interesting features that are definitely worth a try. We selected the 10 most useful uses the site edition. Here they are.
1. It is very convenient to interact with the voice calendar
What to do: launch Siri in any convenient way and say something like “Add an event A meeting today at 17:00. ”

If you click on the geolocation thumbnail in the meeting, the Calendar will launch the Maps application and provide an opportunity to quickly build a route to a specific location.
4. You can run files on a schedule
What to do: click on the “Configure” button in the “Reminder” field while creating a new event, select the “Open File” function and decide on it, add the response time for this action.

5. You can add additional calendars to the program
